Accommodation

The organizers do not book rooms for your accommodation! The delegates are expected to make the appropriate reservations by themselves at their own expense. Since Évora is a touristic destination, the accommodations are highly coveted, particularly during Summer and beginning of Autumn. Therefore we made special arrangements to keep a pre-reserved number of rooms in the recommended facilities offered below. The prices are indicative only. All the prices include breakfast.

Please consider booking your room as soon as possible since this pre-reserve will not be available after the indicated deadlines and it may become difficult to find a room at a convenient price after the deadline expiration.

Transport information

How to reach Évora?
Évora is 130km east of Lisbon and a bus ride takes about 1 hour 45 min. The organizers will try to arrange for a transfer bus from Lisbon airport directly to Évora on the afternoon of Sunday 18th of September. Further information will be provided later in this site.

Connections Lisbon - Évora
Its easy to make the trip on your own. Bus, mini-bus and train transport is available between Lisbon and Évora. Most frequent connection is the bus "Rede-Expressos" (Rede Nacional de Expressos) to Évora from Bus terminal "Sete Rios" near the Zoo. Between 7.00 and 22.00 a bus leaves about every hour. An Aeroshuttle service (bus nr. ) connects Lisbon Airport, the train station "Gare de Oriente" and Bus Terminal "Sete Rios", with stops at some important hotels.

FREQUENCY: Every 30 minutes
PRICE: 3.50€ (Ticket bought on board, valid for 24 hours also on AeroBus and Carris public buses)
